Do not treat clients with active skin conditions in the treatment area, including ulcers, psoriasis, eczema, rashes, open lacerations, abrasions, lesions, inflammation or allergic reactions.

Use with caution in clients who:

• are wearing a pacemaker, internal defibrillator, or have any metal piercing or implant in the body
• are undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy or cryotherapy
• have a history of heat-stimulated conditions, such as recurrent herpes simplex in the treatment area
• have severe scar-forming tendency, poor coagulation, keloids, abnormal wound healing, or very dry and fragile skin
• have an immunosuppressive condition or are taking immunosuppressive medication
• have severe concurrent conditions such as heart disease, sensory disturbance, epilepsy, uncontrolled hypertension, liver or kidney disease, leukaemia or vitiligo
• have poorly controlled endocrine disorders such as diabetes or thyroid dysfunction
• have taken aspirin-containing medication within two weeks before treatment

Avoid treatment during menstruation, pregnancy and lactation.
