Privacy policy
This policy explains what we do with personal data when you use this website or send us an enquiry. It is written for business buyers — distributors, clinics, salons, brands and recovery centres — rather than for consumers.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Hipdeer Technology Limited, the company behind the VORLINA brand. Registered office: FLAT/RM 745, 7/F, Star House, 3 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. For any question about this policy or about your data, write to info@vorlina.net.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you give us — your name, company, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, country, the models you are pricing, quantities and your message.
- The models you add to the enquiry list — assembled as you browse, so that you can send one enquiry covering several units.
- Technical data sent by your browser — IP address, browser type and the pages requested, which our hosting provider records in ordinary server logs. The browser type and time zone you use are stored alongside an enquiry when you submit one, so that we can tell genuine enquiries from automated ones and reply at a sensible hour.
What is stored on your own device
Your enquiry list, and your recent searches on this site, are saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device. They are not sent to us until you submit an enquiry. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them. This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
- To arrange samples, production and shipment if you order.
- To keep records of the orders and the documents that go with them.
- To answer technical questions about a model you are considering.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies to you, we rely on: your consent when you submit an enquiry; our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and running our business; and, once you place an order, the performance of that contract. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time.
Who else sees it
We share personal data only with service providers who need it to do their part of the work: our website hosting and content delivery provider (Cloudflare), our enquiry database provider (Supabase), and — if you order — freight forwarders, customs brokers and payment providers. They act on our instructions or under their own legal duties. We may also disclose data where the law requires us to.
Where it goes
Our team works in Hong Kong and in mainland China. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this means your data is transferred outside your region; we put appropriate safeguards in place for those transfers beforehand.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept while the commercial relationship is active, and afterwards for as long as accounting and tax rules require. Server logs are kept for a short period and then discarded.
Your rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you; ask us to correct it; ask us to delete it; ask us to restrict or stop using it; ask for it in a portable format; or withdraw consent you have given. Write to info@vorlina.net and we will respond within the period the applicable law allows. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the data protection authority in your own country.
Children
This is a business-to-business website for professional equipment. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and change the date below. The version shown applies from that date.
